About this design
The Maroua kaftan is a long, roomy dress that skims the body without clinging. Its V-neck lengthens the neck, elbow sleeves leave the forearms free, and two large pockets keep your phone and keys close at hand. Its generous volume shows off fabrics with character: black bogolan from Mali, purple adire from the Yoruba tradition, orange and indigo tie-dye, or Cameroonian indigo ndop.
You might think a loose kaftan doesn't need measurements. In reality, the length, the depth of the V and the position of the pockets make all the difference between an elegant kaftan and a shapeless dress.
