About this design

The Bonamoussadi set combines a cropped top with cap sleeves and a high-waisted flared midi skirt. Together, they create a fresh, feminine silhouette; apart, they work with the rest of your wardrobe. The top, sleeves and skirt can be cut from different fabrics, wax with linen or ndop with wax, so you can mix them to suit your mood.

With a cropped top, it all comes down to a few centimetres: it should end just above the skirt's waistband without showing more than you want. Sewn to your measurements by a Douala tailor, the two pieces fit together perfectly and the skirt falls at the right point on the calf. The KOUTIVA team checks the finish before delivery.

Styling tips

  • Wear the skirt alone with a white blouse for work, then switch to the matching top for the evening.
  • Pair an Orange floral wax top with a Beige linen skirt for a bright yet balanced look.
  • The crop top also works beautifully with high-waisted jeans.
  • Add a slim belt at the waist to mark where the two pieces meet.

Orange floral wax and Green leaf wax make a cheerful set for outings and birthdays; the more understated Beige linen and Indigo ndop suit the office and church, on their own or paired with wax.
