About this design
The Sawa jacket follows the codes of a suit jacket, single-breasted, with lapels and two flap pockets, and adds an African signature. The play happens on the lapels and pockets: a body in beige linen or indigo ndop, lapels in wax or kente. Understated from afar, striking up close, it dresses up jeans as easily as suit trousers.
A jacket is judged by its shoulders and sleeve length, and off the rack it rarely fits right. Made to your measurements by an experienced Douala tailor, it sits on your shoulders, closes without pulling and shows just the right amount of cuff. The KOUTIVA team checks the lapels, flaps and finish before delivery.
