CREPE
Mustard crepe
Mustard crepe, fluid and full of light
FCFA 3,500 per metre
Width: 145 cm
Crepe is recognisable by its slightly grainy surface, created with highly twisted yarns or a special weave. Once made of silk or wool, it is now often made of polyester, like this one.
Crepe is loved for its fluid drape, which follows the body without clinging. Its warm, sunny mustard shade flatters olive and deep skin tones and pairs naturally with wax prints.
Polyester. A light to medium-weight fabric with a matte grain, fluid and slow to crease.
Soft and fluid with a beautiful drape; less breathable than cotton, it is best for indoor days and evenings.

Frequently asked questions
Does crepe crease?
Very little, which is one of its strengths. A quick pass with a cool iron or steamer is enough.
Is crepe warm to wear?
Being polyester, it breathes less than cotton. It is most comfortable indoors, in the evening or during the rainy season.
Can I pair it with another fabric?
Yes, that is the idea behind the Edea two-fabric dress: a mustard crepe top with an orange wax, green wax or midnight blue gabardine skirt, part by part.
