The Joss flap suit is recognisable at a glance: a mandarin-collar jacket crossed by a large diagonal flap fastened with a single button, and matching straight trousers. The result is both modern and formal. The flap and collar can take a different fabric from the body to emphasise the diagonal line.
With such a graphic cut, every line matters: the flap must cross the chest at the right angle and the button must sit at the right height.
